पढ़ा-लिखा बेरोजगार (The Beginning)

कहानी की शुरुआत किशोर के दसवीं कक्षा के रिजल्ट के साथ होती है। जिसमें किशोर के दोस्त उससे परीक्षा में फर्स्ट आने की खुशी में मिठाई खिलाने को कहते है, लेकिन किशोर के पास पैसे नहीं होते कि वह अपने दोस्तों को मिठाई खिला सके। उतने में ही महेश दिख जाता है। उसके हाथ में मिठाई का डिब्बा होता है। महेश अपने हाथों से किशोर को मिठाई खिलाता है और सभी दोस्तों को भी मिठाई खिलाता है। कुछ समय बाद दोनों एक खाली जगह बैठते हैं और आपस में बात करते हैं।

महेश- भाई तेरा तो नंबर क्लास में सबसे ज्यादा आया है फिर भी तेरा मुँह क्यों उतरा हुआ है। मुझे देख मैं तो फर्स्ट डिवीज़न आ गया, उसी से खुश हूँ।

किशोर- नहीं यार ऐसी बात नहीं है, मेरा नंबर तो ठीक है। जितना मैंने क्वेश्चन किया, नंबर तो उतने ही मिले हैं। लेकिन जब मैंने अपना रिज़ल्ट देखा, तो उसमें मेरे प्रैक्टिकल के नंबर काफी कम थे। जबकि मैंने सभी असाइनमेंट जमा किया था और स्कूल में प्रैक्टिकल फीस भी दी थी, फिर भी।

महेश- चल यार अब छोड़ भी दे। तुने जितना किया था उतना मिला है ना।

किशोर- हाँ।

महेश- तो बस! तुझे खुद पर भरोसा है न कि तूने सभी प्रश्नों के सही उत्तर दिए हैं।

किशोर- हाँ।

महेश- तो ये प्रैक्टिकल व्रैक्टिकल को छोड़। तुमने कितना प्रयास किया और उसमें तुम कितना सफल हुए। यह मायने रखता है।

फिर बाद में महेश, किशोर से पूछता है- अच्छा! अब आगे बारह में क्या लोगे?

किशोर- गणित से ही बारह करना है।

महेश- चल भाई तू तो गणित छोड़ेगा नहीं क्योंकि फॉर्मूला का कीड़ा तेरे अंदर रहता है। मेरा तो बायो ही ठीक है। किशोर- लेकिन कीड़ा तो बायो में ही होता है।

महेश- चल भाई तू ही सही, अब चल!

कुछ दिनों बाद जब स्कूल खुलता है, दोनों बारह में प्रवेश लेते हैं और फिर मन लगाकर पढ़ते है।

किशोर के पास कुछ ज्यादा किताबें नहीं थी। तो महेश उसे अपनी किताबें दे देता था। जब किशोर उसे पूछता था कि तू किस्से पड़ेगा? तो..

महेश- अरे यार! कौन-सा तुझे हमेशा के लिए दे रहा हूँ। पढ़कर वापस कर देना। वैसे भी हर साल सिलेबस चेंज हो जाता है, नहीं तो पुरानी किताबों से ही काम चल जाता था। अब तो सारा स्कालर्शिप उसी में चल जाता है फिर भी पूरी किताबें नहीं हो पाती। महेश- चलो ठीक है, कोई बात नहीं, मंडे को वापस कर देना।

इसी तरह 2 साल गुजर गया और रिज़ल्ट आने का दिन था।

सभी बेसब्री से इंतजार कर रहे थे। एक बार फिर से किशोर प्रथम आया।

महेश- किशोर से मिलने आता है और उसको मिठाई खिलाता है।

उतने मे जतिन का एक दोस्त, किशोर और उनके दोस्तों को एक-दूसरे को मिठाई खिलाते देख, जतिन को फोन कर देता है और उसे कहता है कि तुम्हारे फेल होने की खुशी मे किशोर और उसके दोस्त पार्टी कर रहे हैं।

पता है किशोर, महेश कहता है,

किशोर- क्या??

महेश- सब तो ठीक-थाक पास हो गए। लेकिन! जतिन फेल हो गया। (वो शोचता है, यार! इतनी अच्छी कोचिंग मे पढ़ने पर जब ये हाल है तो उससे अच्छे तो हम लोग ही हैं।)

किशोर- महंगी कोचिंग में पड़ने से कोई अच्छा नंबर नहीं ला सकता। जब तक कि वह खुद से मेहनत न करें। और आगे कहता है कि कोचिंग वाले कुछ भी कर ले, लेकिन एग्जाम तो हमें ही देना होता है।

महेश- सही बात कह रहा है यार! एक दम सही बात है। तभी,

जतिन- अपने बाइक से वहाँ पहुँचता है और किशोर को एक लात मार देता है।

(जतिन एक मंत्री का बेटा है। वो किशोर को परेशान करता था और उसको पढ़ने नहीं देता था।)

महेश- किशोर को संभालता है और जतिन का कॉलर पकड़ देता है।

सभी दोस्त झगड़ा को छुड़ाते है और कहते है देख जतिन हम झगड़ा नहीं चाहते।

जतिन- हाँ-हाँ तुम लोगों की औकात है मुझसे झगड़ा करने की।

महेश- किशोर से कहता है, तूने उसको मारा क्यूँ नहीं?

किशोर- छोड़ यार! वैसे भी वो फेल हो गया है अब क्या उससे बात करें। उसका दिमाग अभी ठीक नहीं है।

महेश- हाँ, पैसा वाला है तो अपने लिए होगा दूसरों के लिए नहीं (गुस्से मे कहता है)

किशोर- चल अब जाने भी दे ना। बस कर!

फिर दोनों घर चले जाते..

एक दिन किशोर का मोबाइल बजता है, किशोर फोन उठाता है..(हैलो)

महेश- क्या भाई अब आगे पढ़ाई नहीं करनी है क्या?

किशोर- नहीं,

महेश- तेरा दिमाग तो ठीक है ना, तू क्या बोल रहा है?

किशोर- महेश! मैं अब काम कर रहा हूं।

महेश- क्यूँ क्या हुआ?

किशोर- पापा की तबीयत कुछ ठीक नहीं है।

फिर.. किशोर- महेश! मैं बाद में बात करता हूं, अभी काम पर जाना है।

एक दिन महेश रास्ते मे, किशोर का इंतेजार करता है, किशोर अपनी साइकिल से काम पर से वापस आ रहा होता  है। वह महेश को देखता है और अपनी साइकिल रोक देता है।

महेश- क्या बात है??                            

किशोर- क्या?

महेश- तू कॉलेज मे admission क्यों नहीं ले रहा।

किशोर- क्या बताऊँ यार! बारह पास करने के बाद शोचा कि स्कालर्शिप मिल जाएगी, तो आगे की पढ़ाई हो जाएगी। लेकिन इस बार स्कालर्शिप ही नही आया। उधर पापा की तबीयत ठीक न होने से मालिक ने उनको काम से निकाल दिया। तो अब पूरे घर की जिम्मेदारी मेरे ऊपर आ गयी है।

वैसे कोई बात नहीं। पापा जहाँ काम करते थे, वही पे बात करके मुझको काम दिला दिए हैं।

अगले दिन किशोर अपने काम पे जाता है और देखता है जतिन भी वही रहता है।

जतिन उसे देखता है और अपने आदमी को चिल्लाकर डाटता है फिर किशोर से कहता है तुम छोटे लोग बस इसी काम के लिए बने हो और चला जाता है। वो आदमी आता है और किशोर से कहता है- किशोर अब कहीं और काम ढूँढ लो नहीं तो मालिक मुझे काम से निकाल देंगे।

किशोर- घर आ जाता है। अगले दिन फिर काम की तलाश मे जाता है और देर साम को थके-हारे आ रहा होता है। तभी

महेश- उसे पीछे से आवाज देता है। किशोर! अरे सुन किशोर!

किशोर- पीछे मुड़ कर देखता है और महेश की ओर जाता है।

महेश- और किशोर! इस वक्त, कहाँ से आ रहे हो।

किशोर- महेश को सारी बाते बताता है।

महेश- यार! मै कह रहा हूँ ना कि तेरा काम करने का समय नही है अभी। पहले ग्रैजवैशन तो फाइनल कर ले।

किशोर- हाँ यार! पर! पापा की दवाई?

महेश- कुछ पैसे किशोर को देता है और कहता है इससे दवा ले लेना और कल सुबह मुझसे मिल।

किशोर- यार! ये पैसे?

महेश- क्या हुआ? रख ले। क्यूँ? तेरे पापा बस तेरे पापा है मेरे कुछ नहीं। चल अच्छा ठीक है, और हाँ कल भूलना नहीं।

अगली सुबह दोनों मिलते हैं।

महेश- उससे कहता है यहाँ साइन करो।

किशोर- ये क्या है? Admission फॉर्म। ये किसका है?

महेश- तेरा है और तू कल से कॉलेज चलेगा और मुझे इसके आगे कुछ नहीं सुनना।

किशोर- पर पैसे? कहाँ से आए, तुम्हारे पास?

महेश- मेरे थे, बस वैसे ही पड़े थे। वो सब छोड़! तू कल से कॉलेज चलेगा मेरे साथ बस!

फिर अगले दिन से दोनों कॉलेज जाने लगते है। देखते ही देखते ग्रैजवैशन भी कम्प्लीट हो जाता है।

Educated Unemployed (The Beginning)

The story begins with Kishore's 10th class result. In which Kishore's friends ask him to feed sweets in the happiness of coming first in the exam, but Kishore does not have money to feed sweets to his friends. Mahesh is visible only in that. He has a box of sweets in his hand. Mahesh feeds sweets to Kishore with his own hands and also feeds sweets to all the friends. After some time both of them sit in an empty place and talk to each other.

 Mahesh- Brother, your number has come the highest in the class, still why are you downcast. Seeing me, I have come in first division, I am happy with that.

Kishore- No friend, it is not like that, my number is fine. The more questions I asked, the more numbers I got. But when I saw my result, my practical marks were very less. While I had submitted all the assignments and also paid the practical fees in the school, still.

Mahesh- Come on friend, leave it now. You have received as much as you have done, haven't you?

Kishore- Yes. Mahesh - That's it! You are sure of yourself that you have answered all the questions correctly.

Kishore- Yes.

Mahesh - So leave this practical practical. How much effort you put in and how successful you were in that. It matters.

Then later Mahesh asks Kishore - Good! Now what will you get in the next 12 years?

Kishore – Have to do twelve from Maths only.

Mahesh- Come on brother, you will not leave Maths because the worm of formula lives inside you. My bio is fine. Kishore - But the worm is in the bio only. Mahesh- Come on brother, you are right, now come!

After a few days when the school opens, both take admission in the 12th and then study diligently.

Kishore did not have many books. So Mahesh used to give him his books. When Kishore used to ask him who will you kiss? So.. Mahesh- Hey man! Which one I am giving you forever. Read and return. Anyway, the syllabus changes every year, otherwise the work would have been done with the old books only. Now the whole scholarship goes to him, yet the complete books are not available. Mahesh- Okay, no problem, return it on Monday.

Similarly, 2 years passed and it was the day of the result. Everyone was waiting impatiently. Once again Kishore came first.

Mahesh comes to meet Kishore and feeds him sweets.

Meanwhile, a friend of Jatin, seeing Kishore and his friends feeding each other sweets, calls Jatin and tells him that Kishore and his friends are partying to celebrate your failure.

Do you know Kishore, Mahesh says,

Kishore- What??Mahesh - All passed well. but! Jatin failed. (He thinks, friend! When we are in this condition after studying in such a good coaching, then we are better than him.)

Kishore- No one can score good marks by getting into expensive coaching. Unless he works hard on his own. And further says that the coaching people can do whatever, but we have to give the exam.

Mahesh - You are saying the right thing! Absolutely correct. only then,

Jatin reaches there on his bike and gives Kishore a kick.(Jatin is the son of a minister. He used to harass Kishore and did not allow him to study.)

Mahesh manages Kishore and holds Jatin's collar.

All the friends get rid of the quarrel and say, look Jatin, we don't want a quarrel.

Jatin- Yes-yes you people have the right to quarrel with me.

Mahesh tells Kishore, why didn't you kill him?

Kishore - Leave it man! Anyway, he has failed, now what to talk to him. His mind is not right now. Mahesh- Yes, if he has money, he will be for himself and not for others (says angrily)

Kishore - Come on, let me go now. Just do it!

Then both go home.

One day kishore's mobile rings, kishore picks up the phone..(hello)

Mahesh- What brother, now don't you want to study further?

Teens - no,

Mahesh- Your mind is fine, what are you saying?

Kishore - Mahesh! I am working now. Mahesh - Why what happened?

Kishore- Papa's health is not good.

Then.. Kishore- Mahesh! Talk to you later, have to go to work now.

One day Mahesh waits for Kishore on the way, who is coming back from work on his bicycle. He sees Mahesh and stops his cycle.

Mahesh- What's the matter??

Kishore - What?

Mahesh- Why are you not taking admission in the college. Kishore- What should I tell man! After passing 12, I thought that if I get a scholarship, then further studies will be done. But this time the scholarship did not come. On the other hand, due to ill health of father, the owner fired him from work. So now the responsibility of the whole house has come upon me.

It doesn't matter anyway. By talking about the place where father used to work, he got me a job.

The next day, Kishore goes to work and finds Jatin still there. Jatin sees him and shouts and scolds his man then tells Kishore you little people are made for this work only and goes away. That man comes and says to Kishore - Kishore, now find work somewhere else, otherwise the owner will throw me out of work.

Kishore comes home. The next day again he goes in search of work and comes back tired in the late evening. only then

Mahesh- calls him from behind. Teen! Hey listen Kishor!

Kishore- looks back and walks towards Mahesh. Mahesh- and Kishore! Where are you coming from at this time?

Kishore tells everything to Mahesh.

Mahesh- Dude! I am saying that now is not the time for your work. First make the graduation final.

Kishore- Yes man! On! Papa's medicine?

Mahesh- gives some money to Kishor and tells him to take medicine from it and meet me tomorrow morning.

Kishore- Dude! this money?Mahesh - what happened? Keep it Why? Your father is just your father, I have nothing. Come on, okay, and yes, don't forget tomorrow.

The two meet the next morning.

Mahesh- tells him to sign here.

Kishore - what is this? Admission Form. whose is this?

Mahesh- It is yours and you will go to college from tomorrow and I don't want to hear anything beyond this.

Kishore - but money? Where did you come from?

Mahesh- It was mine, just lying like that. Leave it all! From tomorrow you will go to college with me.

Then from the next day both start going to college. Graduation also becomes complete in no time.
